Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actor from England. She is most famous for her role in the lead role of Martha Hanson on the FX period-set spy drama The Americans, for which she received critical acclaim and an Primetime Emmy Award nomination in the year 2017. She was scuba diving which was a hobby of hers and suffered a cardiac event at sea which left her in a in a coma. A few days later, she died in peace, with her loved ones by her side.
