Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada by her character as Bo. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had a child that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born 13 May 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus, as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the joyous news that she had become pregnant while filming Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk was working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode premiered on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013.
